Sergio Ramos will miss six weeks after undergoing knee surgery.

Ramos is likely to miss Real Madrid's matchup against Atalanta in the Champions League round of 16.

The 34-year-old defender, whose contract expires in June, has yet to reach an extension agreement with Real Madrid.  

Liverpool will not be allowed entry to Germany to play their Champions League match at RB Leipzig on Feb. 16.

While RB Leipzig pushed for an exception, the German Ministry of the Interior confirmed to German news agency, dpa, on Wednesday that there will be "no special rules for professional sports."

Leipzig now have until Feb. 8 to propose an alternative venue to UEFA which could be in a neutral country.
